Video: Organizing to Age in Place Safely

I recently had the opportunity to be interviewed on Bremerton-Kitsap Access Television, a TV station near where I live.

The interview is part of “The Road Ahead” series. This program is produced by Compass and Clock, a group of professionals dedicated to helping maximize their client’s quality of life as they age. I was part of the group last year.

Whether or not you are you (or someone you know) is getting up there in years, the information I share will come in handy.

I discuss the organizing process, some things to keep in mind if you are thinking about downsizing, and how to get your family and friends involved.

I did competitive speech and debate in middle school and high school, but I haven’t had too much opportunity to speak in front of people since.

Even though this wasn’t in front of a live audience, it was fun to share my organizing knowledge and do some public speaking again.

Feel free to share the video with anyone you know who wants to age in place safely. And of course, I’m always available to help in any way I can. No one should have to travel the road ahead alone.

Until next time,

Carly
